About Poustinia Place

Poustinia is a Russian word for desert, which has come to mean a place to encounter God in silence. Poustinia Place is a 10 acre lot with a fully equipped house suitable for individual or small group retreats.  It is about a an hour and 20 minute drive west of Phoenix, 5 miles on a dirt road.  The property adjoins a monastery, where daily Mass is available.
